We are a religious, not for pofit organization. The Mosque was established in 2005 to serve the community of Newmarket and surrounding towns, where more than 500 Canadian families from multicultural backgrounds live.

The major services provided by Newmarket Islamic Center are:

• To establish congregational prayers for Muslims in the community

• To provide Islamic educational programs for adults and children

• Bring together the Islamic community for a variety of religious, social, and cultural events

• Promote the core Islamic values of peace, tolerance, mutual respect, and understanding among the wide community
