Newmarket Islamic Centre Marks Major Milestone with Successful Groundbreaking Ceremony
Newmarket, ON – December 13, 2025
The Newmarket Islamic Centre (NIC) is pleased to announce the successful completion of its official groundbreaking ceremony, held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at the Centre’s premises located at 700 Mulock Drive, Newmarket.
The event marked an important milestone in NIC’s ongoing efforts to expand its facilities and strengthen its role as a hub for community engagement, service, and connection across Newmarket and surrounding areas.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of distinguished civic and government leaders, including:
