The NewMarket Islamic Centre reached a milestone that our entire community has been working toward and dreaming of for years. With shovels in hand and hard hats on heads, we officially broke ground on our new facility a moment that marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for every member of our community.
The ceremony took place outdoors on a crisp winter morning, with snow on the ground and blue skies overhead. Community leaders, local officials, volunteers, and families came together to witness and celebrate this unforgettable moment in NIC’s history.
