Ramadan Mubarak
AssalamuAlaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Newmarket Islamic Centre is wishing all our community a blessed month of Ramadan. We joined numerous Masajid and Islamic Centres across Canada who have also declared official start date of Ramadan on April 24th, 2020.
Please review following information in regard to Ramadahn 2020.
First Day of Taraveeh: Thursday April 23, 2020 (Pray Home)
First Day of Fasting: Friday April 24, 2020.
Newmarket Islamic Centre is oganizing some virtual programs during holy month of Ramadhan as under:
1 . Online 1 on 1 Quran Class: Weekdays, please email or message Imam to register. Imam@nmic.ca
2 . Daily Tafseer of 1 Juz/Para of the Qur’an at 6:30 pm.
3 . Daily Recitation of 1 Juz/Para of the Qur’an at 7:15 pm ( If you would like to participate in the reading please message Imam min 3 hour prior to daily reading.)
4. 5 mins Trivia for children, on weekends 10 mins before iftar. Starting Saturday May 2.
Sadaqatul Fitr is minimum $8 per head. You can pay directly on our website. Please see section Fitrah on home page.
