Our Story
For more than a decade, the Muslim community in Newmarket has been growing. In 2013, the NIC board decided to build a new centre for present and future generations.
After years of challenges and nearly $500,000 invested in studies and approvals, the building permit was finally approved in 2024.
In November 2025, construction officially began. Together, we are building a legacy.

This includes both reading and memorizing the Quran, studying Islamic practices/responsibilities and exploring Islamic history and culture.
