This past weekend, we had the honour of joining our neighbours at the Ward 7 Community Event a vibrant evening filled with tropical energy, warm conversations, and community spirit, held just before the much anticipated screening of Moana 2.
We set up our table and were welcomed with open arms. From curious questions to heartfelt exchanges, every interaction reminded us of why community engagement matters not just as outreach, but as an act of faith. Showing up for our neighbours, sharing who we are, and being present in shared spaces is, at its core, an extension of our deen.

The atmosphere was lively and colourful, and it was a joy to be part of something that brought so many people together across backgrounds, ages, and walks of life. Moments like these affirm that building bridges doesn’t require grand gestures. Sometimes, it’s as simple as a table, a smile, and a willingness to be there.
To everyone who stopped by thank you. Your curiosity, your warmth, and your support mean more than you know.
May Allah allow us to keep showing up with intention and purpose, wherever the people are.
